If there are many things or colors in the background, it can focus off the subject.
You can of course remove elements in the background through image processing, but it can be a big project in some photos.
Then black and white is the way forward.
It simplifies the blurred background and focuses on the main subject.
So here's a guide on how to change your color image to black & white.

1. Import or open your image in Lightroom.
2. Press (Black & White) and your picture is now in black & white.
Your picture may not be completely black & white, but maybe a little gray. We can correct this by adjusting and adjusting a little
(Basic - Tone)

3. You can adjust multiple tones in your image, such as Shadows, White, Black & Exposure. For example, if you adjust it completely beside it, you can press "Exposure" and it will automatically zero silent Exposure.
It's about adjusting it so that all the details are included in the picture.

4. Under "Detail" you can adjust the Sharpness & Noise. Find a place on the picture where there are many details or lack of focus. You can then correct this by adjusting Sharpness and Noise.

So, now your picture is in black and white.
